EXTRA CREDIT MAY BE USED TO EARN UP TO A C+ GRADE

A maximum of 10 term grade points may be earned with a 100% on the paper.
A 90% earns  nine grade points, an 80% earns eight, and so on.
Thus, if a student has a 68.0% average before the extra credit assignment,
and he or she earns a 95%,
      they will have a 77.5% or C +
