Ancient & Medieval Philosophy -- David L. Rouse
- If we accept the existence of place or space, certain problems or puzzles (aporia, aporia) present themselves.
1. Place has the dimensions of body, but cannot be body for then two bodies would occupy the same place.
2.If body has place, then so do the limits of body. But when we come to the point, how do we distinguish it from its place?
3. Place cannot be an element, nor can it be composed of elements.
