The Wesley Foundation is located at 9304A Coeburn Road, just down from Alumni Hall.  If you stand in the McCrary parking lot and look across Darden Drive, we are located up on the hill.  Just click on this hyperlink for Directions to Wesley .

Open weekdays, our building offers students a place to relax, study, medidate and pray, and hang out with friends.  During final exams, the building remains open 24-hours a day for study, with a snack table available to students.

Our TV Lounge was refurnished a few years ago with comfortable furniture and a nice TV, VCR, DVD player and stereo.  Many students come over and watch TV or rent movies and enjoy this cozy room.

The addition of a small Prayer Chapel four years ago has been a real asset to our building.  The Prayer Chapel contains many resources for devotional use as well as a comfortable chair, an altar table and kneeler, candles, and a fountain.  We have two stained-glass windows that were made that add a beautiful peacefulness to the room.

The Fellowship Hall houses a pool table, a piano, a ping-pong table, as well as a smaller television.  This is where our meals are held on Tuesday evenings.

The kitchen was renovated summer 2002 and now contains all commercial equipment.  Students are allowed to use the kitchen and prepare meals for themselves, if they like.  Use of the kitchen must be scheduled with the director. We just ask that students clean up after themselves when cooking and not leave dishes dirty in the sink or lying around the building.

We also have a study room with computer lab. Three computers are available with printers, MS Office, and online access. We are in the process of developing a library in another room.

The Fellowship Hall and Kitchen can be reserved for group use by campus organizations, local churches, and community organizations.  For information on reserving the facility, please contact Beth Gibson at 328-6826 or e-mail her at bgibson@uvawise.edu .
