Each Topic logically related to the thesis should each be in its own subsection
The Body of any proposal, term paper or presentation should be clearly divided into sub-sections which logically address various areas suggested by the topic and the thesis.

The analyst must decide if a given sub-section should focus on a single Type of Analysis, or not.  If the analyst is only briefly utilizing a single type of analysis, then it is best to keep it confined to one sub-section.  However, to build a stronger analysis, a single type of analysis often spans several sections.  There are, however, many exceptions to this rule.  For example, socio-historical analysis, future orientation and social policy are often effectively relegated to a single sub-section.

Other sub-sections would be unique to a particular topic.  For example, on the broad topic of the family, a term paper could include each of the sub-sections discussed above as well as unique sub-sections such as tax law and marriage, teen marriage, traditional marriage, marriage across cultures, etc.
