 Outline on Your Journal
External Links
Have one entry for each day of activity, either work or research

The journal must be typed & emailed to the Professor as often as indicated on the main syllabus

You may want to keep a notebook w/ you at all times, but you should set a time each day to sit at the computer & record the days activities so that they can be emailed to the Professor at intervals specified in the syllabus
  Date each entry

Give a brief overview of your activities related to the project for the day
Describe the core process of your project, whether it is an internship or a research project.
Focus on the most central happenings in your setting.
This should include your hours, where you went, what you did
You may use pseudonyms to protect privacy, where appropriate, but wherever possible, use real names

The true aim of a journal in this academic process is to become your research record. The journal should also become a narrative so that a person reading it would understand fairly clearly what it is you do in this setting.
