The purpose of this Outlining the Proposal assignment is to assist you in organizing your Draft Proposal, and thus eventually your paper or presentation.

Your thesis should have 
   1.  a topic
   2.  a specification (narrowing) of the topic
   3.  and at least 2 types of academic analysis/research & two types of field analysis/research
Thus, at a minimum, you should have the thesis & 1 major section for each area/manner in which you have specified the topic.

Use your brainstorming list and your web to pick section & subsection titles. 
As you outline, you may see a gap in your logic, and need to add a section that was not anticipated.
At that point, you may want to revise your thesis.
