Status:  a position within a social system does refer to a community of people, although amorphous ones. 
    -  Family name 
    -  Education 
    -  Occupation 
    -  Title 
    -  Public exposure 

 Ultimately status is what people think, class is how much money you have, & power is how many people you can influence
