Ancient & Medieval Philosophy -- David L. Rouse
- He identifies Christ as the logos of Greek philosophy, who was incarnated in Jesus. His purpose on earth was to fight the demons that were the result of the encounter between fallen angels and women.
- His key doctrine is that of the spermatic logos. The seed of the logos was implanted in every man. Thus Socrates, even though he lived before the incarnation, received the logos and is saved.
