Clinical Experience

 1991-1992 Contract counselor for Crossroads Counseling Services, Delta, PA.  Primarily therapy with children and families.  Adult clients with a full range of psychological adjustment issues.
 1989-1991 Staff counselor for Manito Day Treatment Program, Gettysburg, PA.  This was an alternative education program with a strong counseling component.  Main emphasis was providing students with life skills training and personal counseling.  The program was comprised of adolescents on probation, adjudicated youth, and truancy issues.  Individual, family and group therapy for the students and families .  Supervisor for staff of four.
 1987-1988 Mental health Professional, Hoffman Homes for Youth, Gettysburg, PA.  This is a residential treatment center for youth.  Population of adolescents with behavioral and socioemotional problems. 
 1986-1987 Child Abuse Prevention Center, Pittsburgh, PA.  Doctoral Internship.  Individual and group therapy with sexual abused adolescents.
 1984-1985 South Hills School District (Junior High School), Pittsburgh, PA.  Master’s internship as a School counselor.  Groups for learning disabled student.  Parent-teacher conferences.  Licensed in both elementary and secondary guidance counseling.

 Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, NM.  Faculty Internship Supervisor for Master’s level counselor interns, undergraduate practicum students.
 Manito Day Treatment Program, Gettysburg, PA.  Staff supervisor for 4 counselors.
