Purpose

To foster good fellowship, build school spirit and loyalty to the UVA-Wise baseball team, and encourage high morals and standards among its' members.

Responsiblities

> Help with fundraising > Work concession stands at home ballgames > Give tours to baseball recruits > Advertise games around campus and the community > Decorate the locker room before games > Take pictures for the annual scrapbook and website > Offer dedication and support to the UVA-Wise baseball team > Retrieve foul balls at baseball games

Officer Responsiblities

Captain > Preside over the Diamond Girls meetings > Deligate authority to the other officers > Work closely with the organization's advisor Co-Captain > Assist the captain in her duties > Assit at the Diamond Girls meetings > Keep everyone informed of what needs to be done Secretary > Keep accurate minutes of all Diamond Girls meetings > Keep accurate records of all Diamond Girls functions, decisions, and actions Treasurer > Maintain accurate financial records > Keep up with profits and expenses Public Relations Officer > Responsible for designing and hanging up flyers for home baseball games > Build awareness of Cavalier baseball in the community Spirit Chair > Responsible for making signs for the boys > Decorating the locker room before home games Fundraiser Chair > Responsible for coming up with ways of raising money > Must be able to coordinate with the baseball players in fundraising efforts Historian > Responsible for taking pictures and cutting out articles from local newspapers > Construct a scrapbook for the players and coaches to view at the end of the season
