Giving to AWP
Last year, our federal funding was dramatically slashed, along with many other educational programs. We still receive support from the college, but we will increasingly rely on community and school support to continue our programming. If you would like to give to AWP, here are ways to do it:
1. Send your gift to the Office of Development at UVA-Wise (http://www.uvawise.edu/giving/) with a note that it should be designated for Appalachian Writing Project
2. Donate on the National Writing Project web site at http://40153.thankyou4caring.org/
and use the pulldown menu to designate VA-Appalachian Writing Project.
