From I-40 East, go past Research Triangle Park
and the airport and
Morrisville, then look for EXIT 289 WADE AVE.
Bear RIGHT at this exit
and continue on Wade Ave for about 4 miles (It
will be the 3rd Traffic
Light). This four miles will not have any traffic
lights for a while, and it
will take you past our new Entertainment and
Sports Arena on your right.
At this third traffic light, turn RIGHT
onto FAIRCLOTH St. Go to the 1st
traffic light which will be the intersection
with HILLSBOROUGH St. Take
a LEFT onto Hillsborough St and continue on Hillsborough
for
approximately a mile and a half (about 13 stoplights).
The Velvet Cloak
Inn will be on your right (1505 Hillsborough
St). The Velvet Cloak Inn is
located immediately after the YMCA which is a
large two story building
(You will have just passed the last part of the
main campus for NCSU).
The traffic through the Research Triangle Area
is very hectic around
5:00 pm as well as in the morning hours.
Please allow for this in
your schedules. If you have any questions
